Kathleen Stern - Violin - Second Violin Third Chair

Kathleen Stern has been a member of the Seattle Symphony second violin section since 1985. She was a scholarship student of Jascha Brodsky at the New School of Music in Philadelphia. Prior to coming to Seattle, she was a member of the Delaware Symphony, Opera Delaware, the Concerto Soloists of Philadelphia, Philly Pops, and a number of other Philadelphia-area orchestras.

Kathleen is married to area conductor Adam Stern. They have four children between them: Michael and Margaret Davis, and Ella and Oscar Stern.
